Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for my 11 year old This dress is for my 11 year old's fifth grade graduation. We have so much trouble finding dresses that aren't "babyish" but fit. On your size chart, she is an 8 based on torso measurements but is almost 60" tall. I knew from many past purchases that your dresses run short...so I ordered the 14. Thank goodness I did, because the length is just right. The 12 would have been too short for my comfort. It is a testament to how much we both ADORE the dress that I am getting it altered to take in the sides (it swims on her.) We have the green...it is gorgeous, with gold metallic accents, and will look lovely with gold sandals. She loves how "sophisticated" it looks. A suggestion...for the girls dresses that run up to size 14 or 16...you may want to use slightly older models (age 10-12 or so.) if I had shown her the pic on the web page before I ordered it, she would never have considered the dress because the model was so young...it would be "babyish!"
