Rated 1 out of 5 by Becks Buy a Tervis Tumbler instead
My wonderful boyfriend got me this adorable mug and I was so excited to have it. I used it once, and took it home to wash it. The washer popped off and was almost impossible to get back in. The washer, the small plastic ring that prevents spillage, is essential to this mug functioning well and not spilling it everywhere. Since then I have lost the washer, which now renders this mug basically useless. I guess it can be a cute cup now?
Overall, it's a poorly made product. It doesn't go in the dishwasher or microwave, cannot hold carbonated liquids (per usage instructions) and the washer comes off almost immediately. Buy a monogrammed Tervis instead!

The first time I used the mug, I had filled it with tea and made sure the lid was secured properly. When I went to take a sip, the liquid leaked out from under the lid and all over myself. I thought maybe I hadn't secured it enough so I took it off and tried again, but sure enough, the mug is defective. I threw it away that day. Waste of money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sara73 Cleaning is a problem!
This mug is so cute! It brightens up my mornings with the adorable print.
The problem I have is that it is almost impossible to clean thoroughly. It is not dishwasher safe, so hand washing is the only option. That isn't the problem though... The smell of the coffee/whatever residue is practically permanent. I can't sniff my mug without cringing it's that strong!
I'm sure there is a way to deep clean the mug but I know it would be quite difficult. I would recommend this product just because of how cute it is, but if you're not ready to deep wash it after every use then you might want to find a different one.

So I am absolutely in love with all things Lilly, and I have this weird obsession with cups. Of course, when I see a totally cute Lilly mug I have to get it. Well the thing gets here and the first thing that happens is the little plastic circle in the lid pops off. No biggie, I pop it back in and carry on. Well without that tight seal on the lid, my coffee likes to spill out every time I take a sip. I can get that plastic circle on there to where my drink won't spill, but it takes some serious effort on my part. I love Lilly, but this cup has issues.

Super cute, got this print to match my laptop case. Only thing is it says you shouldn't put anything over 176 degrees Fahrenheit in it, how exactly am I supposed to know my fresh morning cup of tea I make is above or below 176 degrees?? Water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit. How will I know when it's cooled down enough? I don't have all day to wait for it to cool, and most certainly don't have a thermometer laying around to measure what the temperature of hot liquids are.

The lid is troublesome to screw on correctly and is cheap. The lid does not hold the liquid in when the lid is slid into the "locked position". Cute pattern (of course!) but does not keep liquid warm either. :(

This is an adorable mug, but my coffee or tea or whatever I am drinking from it seeps out from under the lid so I either need to constantly have a napkin to clean it up or I can't use it with the lid at all.
