Party of the Year
Last weekend we had a BIG.TIME.CELEBRATION. We returned to our home town of Palm Beach, and to the place where it all began, Worth Avenue, and celebrated 60 years of Lilly’s Palm Beach, print, and the people who bring it to life… YOU. It was the opening of our flagship store on Worth Avenue and the start of our 60th anniversary as a brand all at once. You could say it was a PARTY.
The Flagship Store
It’s difficult to put into words how spectacular our Worth Avenue flagship store is. After decades of dreaming it up, years of planning, months of building, and weeks of prepping for the opening, it’s safe to say that it was all WORTH it. Enter via Worth Avenue through wide-open doors with custom Lilly door handles and be welcomed by live water, sand, and seashells. Pause, take a breath, and take it all in.
There’s a print artist studio with a resident print artist painting away, a customized Shift Shop where you can choose your own fabric and lace to design your own shift dress, multiple stunning seating areas that will entice you to stay a while, hand-painted murals everywhere, a Juice Bar with a friendly face pouring you a glass of champagne, an orchid ceiling, an outdoor courtyard… It’s the kind of place that’s WORTH planning a whole trip around. It’s an experiential paradise that you won’t find anywhere else. You just have to see it in person…
Worth Avenue Take Over
On Saturday night, with the help of the town of Palm Beach and the Worth Avenue Association, we shut down Worth Avenue and 600+ of our Palm Beach friends joined us to laugh, dance, and cheers to Lilly. The night entailed a custom pink carpet down the avenue, 25 models, bronzed by Glam Squad and styled by Sarah Slutksy, showcasing the heritage styles from our Resort and Spring seasons, dance-worthy tunes spun by Harley Viera-Newton, select fine jewelry by Maison Maurice, a signature Lilly cocktail “The Optimist,” live painting from our print artists, shopping in the stunning new store, and plenty of photo-worthy moments. In true Lilly fashion, EVERYONE was invited and everyone joined in—from families to friends to even a bridal party. The styles worn by all were wild and chic and LILLY in every way.
Palm trees glowed pink, the whole avenue buzzed with excitement, and it was a true kickoff to the start of the Palm Beach season and Lilly’s 60th year as a brand.
The whole celebration was created #fortheloveofLilly and was the kind of party that’s remembered forever.
