Paddle for Pink in the Hamptons, Photography by Rob Rich and Travis Magee
An East Coast Summer
We tend to travel south to Florida and other sunny destinations in the winter, but there is a special place in our hearts for an East Coast summer. We love beach towns, long stretches of sand, and the sound of the ice cream truck coming down the block. An East Coast summer is FULL of Lilly moments—and we are making the most of them with special, signature Lilly events.
We are highlighting a few of the major charitable events we’ve had on the East Coast so far… read below to get the full scoop!
Paddle for Pink
Saturday, August 4th, we had the honor of sponsoring the 7th annual Hamptons Paddle & Party for Pink event and party in Sag Harbor. Benefiting the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, the day consisted of a paddle boarding race in the Haven Beach bay, a Lilly Cabana pop-up shop in the sand, a Lilly-inspired juice stand, and one of our print artists live painting an undersea scene. That night, there was an over-the-top gorgeous party on the same beach, filled with live music and dancing, food trucks, HUGE 10’6” custom Lilly printed JB Boards paddleboards, and signature touches of Lilly print throughout. The dress code was Lilly or Louder and people took it VERY seriously.
So many of our Hamptons friends came to celebrate the positive work that the BCRF does. The entire event raised over $1.4 million for BCRF… there’s power in PINK.

Local Love
Custom events with hand-painted products have been our signature this summer because we LOVE adding personalized touches to your summer vacation accessories. One of our signature series of events is called Local Love, which is the Lilly version of shopping for a cause with a hometown twist. These events involve a custom painted item and shopping experience, where 10% of the proceeds benefit a local charity.
Nantucket, Chatham, Avalon, Edgartown… all of these Lilly stores had Local Love events in the past few months. One of our traveling print artists was there to paint sunhats and cork clutches, making for a one-of-a-kind accessory. The proceeds from these shopping events went to organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association and the Wetlands Institute.

Thank You
A big thank you to everyone who came to one of these events and made it a little sunnier for someone else. Feel free to pop into your local store and ask about what upcoming events they may have—and follow along on our Instagram to see our major events announced ahead of time. EVERYONE is always welcome at a Lilly party. xx
