Lilly Pulitzer Debuts “Resort Vintage Vault” at New York Fashion Week

To kick off New York Fashion Week 2025, Lilly Pulitzer transformed the New York Design Center into a lush, tropical oasis for the debut of Lilly’s Vintage Vault—an immersive exhibition that celebrated over 65 years of the brand’s legendary prints, craftsmanship, and Palm Beach heritage.

Hosted at The Gallery at 200 Lex, the exhibition was more than a fashion presentation—it was a vibrant journey through time. Guests entered the experience via an express elevator wrapped in signature Lilly prints and colors, setting the tone for a nostalgic yet forward-looking celebration of resort fashion.

A Vault of Heritage and Innovation

The centerpiece of the exhibition was the unveiling of the Resort 2026 Vintage Vault Collection - a reimagined curation of archival designs, thoughtfully reinterpreted for today’s resort muse. From the playful Lilly’s Zoo print, originally released in 1974, to the saturated blues and whimsical silhouettes, the collection honored the brand’s roots while embracing modern elegance.

The gallery-style installation featured:

• Archival artistry from the 1960s and 1970s, newly reunited with the brand
• Live models showcasing the new collection with effortless glamour
• Fabric-draped walls that echoed the brand’s textile legacy
• 'Citrus' hangtags on each piece detailing the original release year, adding a collectible touch for loyalists and new fans alike

A Multigenerational Moment

CEO Michelle Kelly and Chief Creative Officer Mira Fain emphasized the importance of reconnecting with Lilly’s design history. “We’re proud to honor our roots while inviting a new generation to fall in love with the timeless joy of our brand,” said Kelly. Fain added, “These heritage prints are a vibrant reminder of the originality and optimism that have defined Lilly for over 65 years.”

The exhibition was open to the public from September 9–11, allowing fashion lovers, press, and longtime Lilly fans to explore the brand’s storied print history and preview the upcoming Resort collection firsthand.
