Our Nantucket Travel Guide
This July, we’re taking part in a special dinner on Nantucket with author Elin Hilderbrand, curated by Edge Escapes for People Magazine. This gathering celebrates Elin’s enduring connection to the island and the arrival of The Five Star Weekend, a new Peacock Original series adapted from her bestselling novel. The intimate dinner will feature pieces from our home collection and attendee gifts in our Nantucket destination print. Inspired by this highlight of our summer calendar, we put together a travel guide to help you plan your own Nantucket getaway.

A colorful dress for dinners out and island exploring
Lightweight sweaters for cool oceanfront breezes
Lots of linen, including runaround dresses and airy white separates

What to Do
Nantucket may be small, but this beloved New England destination is packed with things to do. Make the most of it by living out your own five star weekend! These are the essential activities our itinerary:
Bike along the coast and take in the ocean views
Spend an afternoon on the beach with a great book
Wander the streets, lined with Nantucket’s iconic hydrangeas
Explore offshore with a boat day
Pick out a colorful new look at our Nantucket store
Enjoy a leisurely lunch al fresco (more on what to eat below!)
Sip on spritzes with friends at sunset
Wind down with a long evening walk by the water
Grab a coffee and watch the boats come into the harbor
Make time for meaningful conversations and slow moments
What to Eat
The Five Star Weekend follows food blogger Hollis Shaw as she hosts friends on Nantucket, so it’s filled with culinary inspiration. Take a page from Hollis’ (cook)book and taste these simple pleasures of the Nantucket summer table:
Lobster rolls
Oysters on the half shell
New England clam chowder
The catch of the day, fresh from the boat
An abundant charcuterie board
Sweet corn and local tomatoes
Blueberry desserts
An ice cream cone after dinner
A bottle of rosé, shared with friends
Anything enjoyed outdoors with an ocean view
What to Read
Last but not least, no summer getaway is complete without a great beach read. (Personally, we like to bring a book for every day of the trip!) We dove into Elin Hilderbrand’s catalog and put together our ultimate Nantucket reading list:
The Five-Star Weekend
The Hotel Nantucket
The Blue Bistro
Summer of ‘69
28 Summers
The Identicals
Golden Girl
See you on Nantucket this summer! xx Lilly
