Meet Tosha Williams

Tosha is a Mompreneur and the creator of The Pink Retreat. Founded in 2017, The Pink Retreat is the most colorful girls’ weekend getaway in Palm Beach. Created for women of all ages who love a colorful closet, this inspiring and welcoming weekend is a chance to make new friends and memories. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Tosha was an art therapist working in a hospital setting. Patients would regularly comment on her sunshiny, brighter-than-life clothes: "Thank you for bringing the sun inside, it always makes me feel good!" Being able to lift someone's spirits with colorful clothes brings a smile to anyone's face!

How does wearing Lilly Pulitzer make you feel?

Like sunshine personified! When I used to work bedside as an art therapist, my patients would always comment on how I brightened up their rooms, bringing the sunshine inside. They would instantly smile, which is therapeutic in and of itself.

What does "Be the Sunshine" mean to you?

I try to live the phrase, ‘Smile, it might be the only sunshine someone sees that day!’

Is there a message or mantra that inspires you?

‘I am my ancestors’ wildest dreams!’

What inspired you to start The Pink Retreat?

I love the online Lilly Pulitzer community; we celebrate our happiest times and mourn together in moments of sadness. I felt that we needed an opportunity to get together in person and further solidify those relationships. I love seeing how many ‘besties’ now get together regularly as a result of what I created.

How do you use your platform to inspire other women?

I had an idea and went for it. I was absolutely terrified and did it anyway! I’m hoping that I inspire someone else to go for their dreams and make them a reality, too.
